Questions

Can I use these sleep sounds in my YouTube video?

Yes. Use them as background in your own video, stream or podcast for free, as long as you put the credit line in the description. Monetized videos are fine.

Do I need to ask permission first?

No. Add the credit line and publish. If you want to tell us, we're always happy to see what people make.

Will my video get a copyright claim?

No. Soothing Sleep doesn't register these sounds with YouTube Content ID, so the sounds alone won't trigger a claim.

Can I re-upload a Soothing Sleep video or album?

No. Re-uploading our videos or tracks on their own, or selling them as your own sleep-sound release, isn't covered. Mix them into something you made.

How do I license the sounds for a spa, app or product?

Email hello@canopytide.com with what you're making and where it will be used. Commercial licences cover in-store playback, apps, games and products.
